Our hydraulic systems can be used from the smallest to the largest commercial pools. The advantage of hydraulic systems is that they are easy to use and are powerful yet safe. By simply turning a key or pressing a button, the pool cover is opened or closed. Due to its simplicity of use you can be sure that the pool will be covered when not in use and that even should you have to leave the pool for a short while you can close and open the cover within a minute and therefore ensure safety to anyone left near the pool. For commercial applications this simple method of deploying the cover means less staff are required for the task (only one person!) and no breach of health and safety regulations is likely to occur.
Absolute Safety
As the cover is opened and closed, either by key operation or by remote control, by simply removing the key or keeping the remote in a safe place, you can ensure that nobody can open the cover and gain access to the pool without your knowledge. Effectively sealing the pool, the Poollock Cover provides absolute safety to both children and pets as when the cover is over the pool it can be walked on! It’s rather like walking over a waterbed. A surface cover pump will remove any rain water and prevent it collecting on the cover. There may be many prectical reasons for wanting a pool cover but safety is paramount in most people’s minds. Your cover sits on the surface of the water, sealing the pool and preventing leaves and debris from entering the pool. This means instead of having the tiresome task of cleaning the pool before it can be used, your pool is always ready for use. This is especially beneficial for people who have trees near their pool and who suffer from continual ingress of leaves into the pool. Economy
There are several spin-off benefits to be derived from having a Poolock Cover. Although safety is the most important reason to have a cover, it should be noted that the pool’s surface is sealed by the cover. This prevents the loss of chemicals from the water due to the effects of sunlight. It also stops evaporation of the pool water. In order for evaporation to take place, heat has to be extracted from the pool water. This consumes a huge amount of heat that you have paid to put into the water. Therefore, by preventing evaporation, significant savings will be made on your heating costs!
Options for Most Pools
We can design the cover to fit any pool whether it’s rectangular or individually shaped. Automatic covers can be pit-mounted, installed in a surface bench, have tracks that sit on the surface (top tracks), tracks that are sunk flush with the paving’s surface (flush tracks) or secret under-cope tracks (generally new build).
