Why a Slatted Cover?

Floating across the water’s surface, PoolDeck insulates the pool with sealed slats that separate the water from the air above. Each slat locks into its neighbouring slat to seal the pool’s surface and prevent evaporation. The slats themselves have end caps that make the slats watertight and buoyant. The system of fixing these end caps uses injected silicon to ensure the slats remain hermetically sealed throughout their life. Running costs to heat the pool are reduced as is chemical usage. Your pool is kept clean and beautiful to look at.

Installation Options
PoolDeck can be built in to your pool if you are at the construction stage with options for in-wall mounting, pool floor pit mounting, or wall fixing. We can even have the cover hidden in the floor or wall with automatic opening doors for invisible installations!
Where being fitted to an existing pool, the cover can be floor or wall mounted without the need to drill through your pool walls (tiled pools only). Of course the cover can also be mounted in a bench at the end of the pool or on the paving with an open roller. They can also be mounted at a high level on a wall or ceiling.
